A Brabant fifteen minutes with Van Gogh

A Brabant Quarter with Van Gogh is an engaging curriculum that introduces elementary school students to Vincent van Gogh as a Brabant boy. Through a comprehensive set of assignment cards, worksheets and a detailed teacher's guide, the world of Vincent van Gogh and the Brabant of his time come to life. Appealing, short assignments that can be used separately or combined make this material flexible. Schools can thus organize a whole project week or periodic themed lessons around Van Gogh. Special assignments have been developed for the lower, middle and upper grades to suit the children's specific experiences and learning needs.

Educational offerings heritage sites

A Brabant quarter-hour with Van Gogh can also serve as an excellent preparation for a visit to one of Brabant's Van Gogh heritage sites or a Van Gogh exhibition at Het Noordbrabants Museum. The heritage sites in Zundert, Etten-Leur and Nuenen show how Van Gogh lived in Brabant and rose to become a master painter. They offer educational activities for primary and secondary schools. Vincent's Drawing Room in Tilburg organizes creative workshops and the talent development program The New Vincent. The North Brabant Museum has an educational program in addition to the Van Gogh exhibition for primary and secondary schools.
